How to use Limewire?

I will assume that you already know how to open Limewire from your computer.

1. Open LimeWire and select the type of file you're searching for. In the main screen on the left side, you have the option to download images, documents, audio, video and programs. If you are unsure as to the file type, select "All Types."

example: If youre looking for an MP3, select audio and put the title of the song on the Title box/

2.
Insert the name of the file you wish to search for. Depending on the type of file you selected, you can narrow your search by inserting additional criteria, such as artist and genre for audio files or title and type for video files.

3.
Once you've decided on the file name, click search. All files matching your search criteria then appear in the top windowpane of the main screen. You can click on the column heading to re-sort the file display.

4.
Select the file you wish to download and click the download button. The file begins to download onto your computer. While it is downloading, it displays in the bottom windowpane of the main screen.

5.
Access and play your files. To access your file, click on the "Library" tab on the upper-left corner of the main screen. It then displays a list of your downloaded files.Anothe option is, once the file has been downloaded to 100%, highlight the file and click on Explore, it will open a new window where the file is actually located.

Let me know if you have any questions.
